It Takes Several Easy Steps
Order Receiving
Once we receive your order through our channels, either through call, text, email or what Sapp we enter your details into our schedule for free picking.
When making the order ensure to provide the following details;
- Name
- Your address/location
- Contact number
- Any other relevant information.
Picking and delivery
When we arrive at your place we will conduct a pre-assessment task on your carpet to establish its status and also to ascertain if it’s something we can clean.
We will also let you know the quote before we pick.
On agreement with the quote we will do all the heavy lifting of removing the carpet and also fix to how it was on delivery for your convenience.

Assessment and Dusting
At the workshop, the carpet goes through another assessment to establish the exact cleaning needs.
It’s then taken through the industrial dusting machine to remove any dirt or food particles that may be logged in between the fibers.
This process also helps comb the fibers that might have stuck together.
Treatment and cleaning
Straight from the dusting machine, your carpet is soaked in water treated with a disinfectant to eliminate any dust mites that might be present.
We then take it through the machine that is electronically set according to the carpet’s profile. The carpet is deeply scrubbed with a set of brushes rocking back and forth that ensures no dirt or stain is left.
At the end of the machine, the carpet is rinsed off excess water and detergent as it gets rolled on the bottom bar.
The detergents we use are soft and of mild concentration to ensure your carpet is properly taken care of to avoid any corrosion to the fibers.
This process takes around 6-10 minutes depending on the size and level of soiling of the carpet.
Wringing
The rolled carpet is then placed into the wringer and let to spin for about 5minutes that rids the carpet off water of up to 99%.
This ensures the carpet does not stay soaked in water for a long period of time which may cause molding and the eventual damage to the carpet.
This water would ordinarily take close to two days to drip off which usually results in a foul smell on the carpet.
Airing
Out of the wringer, we air the carpet outside to finish the drying process and also to make sure it’s fresh as a result of sun drying.
The location at which we air your carpets is free from road dust and car fumes for perfect results.
It’s also at this stage where we get to conduct the final assessment of your carpet to make sure no stain is still visible and that the carpet has been cleaned to the desired outcome.
De-Humidifier
This is the most important stage of the drying process at Mkeka.
After airing your carpets the whole day in the sun, we like to make sure no moisture is still left in your carpet.
We place your carpets overnight in this chamber where hot air is blown to ensure they are a 100% dry. This stage also helps to get rid of any dust mites or parasites that might have been left.
Delivery
After we have made sure your carpet is dry and ready for delivery, we prepare it by making sure the look, smell and feel is better than how it was.
